I know I'm not much of a singer but if I just hummed these tunes it would be a bit boring.
When the Sun Goes Down Tonight
This was the first recording I made with my new acoustic guitar
Finished recording this at 11:47PM on Dec 31st, 2005. I had decided to stay home and relax instead of going out. During the course of the evening I decided that I needed to write a "New Year's Eve" song. I think it took me 15 minutes to write this song and I finished the final recording just in time.
Just a different version of the song using drums, bass and several guitar parts.
This song came about through a conversation I had with some friends. We were talking about relationships and they were wondering why I seemed to have no sense of urgency to find someone. I made the comment that whatever happens, happens, and sometimes you "just end up alone". Well, that phrase stuck in my head for a day or two and finally a song came from it.
Written after a bad day at work.
